Reginald Ernest Jones entered into eternal rest at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice on Saturday, July 2, 2016. He retired after 31 years of service from Shell Chemical Plant as a Process Operator.

Beloved husband of Jennifer “Jean” Johnson Jones. Father of Toya Monique, Tori Michelle, and Rhynell Heath Jones. Adopted father of Wayne White. Son of Ernest David Jones and Barbara Richard Jones. Grandson of the late Rev. Samuel and Lillie Richard, Samuel and Ethel Richard Jones. Brother of Chauncey (Gail) Jones, David (Gaynell) Johnson, and Avis (Tyrone, Sr.) Hodges. Nephew of the late Daisy (Alvin) Jones, Yvette (Jimmie) Lawson, Ruby (Joseph) Cullier, Jeanette Jones, Vernon (Doris) Richard, Gerald Jones and Samuel Jones, Jr. Son in law of the late Irvin Owens and Florence Jackson, also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Age: 62 years a of native Marrero, LA and resident of Harvey, LA

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Second Zion Baptist Church 6520 Second Zion Ave. Marrero, LA on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 10:00a.m.
