Richard Wilson, a retired environmental supervisor, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at his residence.

Devoted father of Richard Chess and Regina Chess. Son of the late Leon, Jr. and Celestine B. Wilson. Brother of Cornelius (Sandra) Wilson, Mervin (JoAnn) Wilson, Sandra Wilson (Willie) Dennise, Ella Tuesno, and the late Frank, Leon, III, and Dorothea Debra Wilson, Ora Lee Smith, Ola Mae Anderson, and Marsha Thompson, also survived by 4 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Age: 62 years a native and resident Harvey, LA

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Mt. Olive Baptist Church 1701 Estalote Ave. Harvey, LA on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 12:00p.m.

Visitation will begin at 11:00a.m. at the above named church.

Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery -Avondale, LA
