Bishop Joan Marie Hall Powell transitioned to the Lord on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at her residence. Joanie was Pastor and CEO of Love Touch Ministries. She became District Superintendent of Foursquare International Church Developmental Center, a faith based organization that helped the underprivileged.

Wife of the late Emmanuel Powell. Beloved mother of Maiken, Jason, Jonathan and Mark. Daughter of the late Stanley and Gustavia Parks Hall. Sister of Mary Louise Hall Ayo. Aunt of Leslie, Desiree, and Clifton Ayo, Jr., also survived by a host of other relatives and friends who will continue to cherish her memory and legacy in the ministry.

Age: 63 years a native of New Orleans LA and a resident Harvey, LA

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Love Touch Ministries, New Home Ministries and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at New Home Ministries 1616 Robert C. Blakes, Sr. Blvd. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. at the above named church.

Interment: Will Be Private
