Kenneth Ray Harvey, Sr. departed this life at his residence on Sunday, July 17, 2016. He was an associate/ greeter at Home Depot. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Army, from which he received numerous awards and commendations. Beloved husband of Irma Quinn Harvey. Father of Trent Ray (Samantha) Harvey, Troy Rene (Artisha) Harvey, Anessa Ladon (Yolanda) Harvey, and Kenneth Ray (Jamie) Harvey, Jr. Stepfather of Jacqueline Quinn. Son of the late Jeff June Harvey, Jr. and Gwendolyn Goodwill Harvey.Stepson of Mattie Spikes. Brother of Darlene Spikes (Donald) George, Rosalind Harvey (Michael) Toussaint, and the late Douglas Wayne Harvey and Anthony Joseph Harvey. Stepbrother of Toronto (Sheryl) Spikes, Sharon Spikes (Glenn) Penna, Tonya W. Spikes, Tereka Spikes (Edwin) Chance, and Robin L. Spikes. Proceeded in death by his grandparents, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Age: 66 years a native of DeRidder, LA and a resident Westwego, LA Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Boynton United Methodist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Boynton United Methodist Church 515 5th St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10:00a.m.   Pastor Sione Tu’uta officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. at the above named church.
