Rose “Momma Rose” Mary Dumas Smith entered into eternal rest on Thursday July 21, 2016 in Pensacola, FL.

Beloved wife of the late Wilbert Smith, Sr. Mother of Maurice, Melvin (Rebecca), Ronald (Mona Lisa), and Andrew Pierce, Michelle Smith, and the late Wilbert Smith, Jr. She also raised her sister’s children Brenda, Anthony, and Sharon Lott, Shelia and Sherie Washington. Daughter of the late Wilfred and Anita Dumas. Sister of Royal Joseph (Maggie) Dumas, Charles Dumas, Sr., Francis Xavier “Tweety” (Sherolyn) Dumas and the late Lola Mae Lott, Joseph Farley Dumas, and Wilfred Calvin Dumas. Also survived by 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

Age: 81 years a native of Vacherie, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 10:00a.m.
