Joseph Hampton departed this life on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at his residence. Father of Danielle Robinson. Son of the late Willie Hampton, Sr. and Rita Bellock Hampton. Grandson of the late Joseph and Clara Bellock. Brother of Tierney Shellmire, Edward Shellmire, Willie (Natachia) Hampton, Jr. Lionel Hampton, Shelia (Carl) Johnson, Clara Hampton, and the late Annette Hampton, and Carmenzette Moten. Nephew of the late Mercedes London and Royal Bellock. Cousin of the late Malcolm, Melva, and Ivory Joe London. Brother-in-law of Clarence Moten; also survived by 4 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
