Michael Thomas Benion

Michael Thomas Benion, age 31, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Michael attended Bonnabel High School and SUNO. He was employed as a Security Officer with Paragon Systems. Beloved husband of Jontay Rushell Blatcher-Benion. Father of his furry son, his loving dog Bailey Benion.  Loving son of Michael and the late Cassandra Benion. Grandson of the late Thomas Taylor, Marva Taylor, Anna Benion and Carl Benion, Sr.; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of First Pilgrims Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Resources for Better Health, Paragon Systems, Bourbon Orleans and the Transplant Team of Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus are invited to attend the Funeral Service at First Pilgrims Baptist Church, 1228 Arts St., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 10:00a.m.

Pastor Eugene Mitchell, officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Providence Memorial Park Cemetery-Metairie, LA
