Sadie Thompson

Sadie B. Williams Thompson passed away peacefully on Monday, August 22, 2016 at the age of 83. She was a native and lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. Sadie was employed as a food technician with Universal Services and Christ the King School, and as a certified nursing assistant with Belle Chasse State School from which she retired in 2004. Beloved wife of the late Frank Thompson. Loving mother of Patricia (Milton), Pamela, Dwight (Jevon) Williams, Marsha McMillion, and the late Kim Santiago and Paulette Williams. She was also instrumental in the rearing of her granddaughter Kiesha Santiago. Daughter of the late Noelie Chatman Terry. Grandmother of Royal Cola, Johnny, Brian, and Jerry Galathe, Larry Granger, Shavonne Harris, Michael McMillion, Equilla McKeel, Keoka Rubio, Bobby, Cierra, and Taylor Williams. Sister of Lenox (Arletta), Mary L. Chatman, Cassandra Bently, and the late Audrey Young and Claude Chatman; also survived by 20 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
