Willie Ella Taylor, retired educator, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Oschner Medical Center Westbank. Loving mother of Shirley Michelle Taylor-Tyner and Schaunda Schnell Taylor-Hussein. Grandmother of Jowanda Michelle Taylor. Daughter of the late Willie and Cordelia Taylor. Granddaughter of the late Nelson and Lottie Williams. Sister of Willie Taylor, Jr., Cordelia King, Faye Starks, Linda Taylor, Doris Blake, Susan Taylor, Clara Taylor, Mattie Barnwell, Verna Taylor, Vanessa Taylor, and the late Ruby Wells, Rosie Wilson and Gail Taylor; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 66 years, a native of Carpenter, MS and a resident of Marrero, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Belle Chasse Church of Christ, Elysian Fields Church of Christ and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Elysian Fields Church of Christ, 4636 Elysian Fields Ave., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 10:00a.m.

Brother Joseph Alexander, officiating; Brother David Green, host minister. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: White Oak Church of Christ Holiness Cemetery-Utica, MS on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 1:00p.m.
