Glinda VanCourt Williams Morton entered into eternal rest at her residence on Friday, September 2, 2016. She was employed as a teacher with the Jefferson Parish School Board. Beloved mother Raynelda Williams (Lydell) Jackson. Daughter of the late Herman VanCourt, Sr. and Floristine Celestin VanCourt. Sister of Herman (Yvonne) VanCourt, Jr., Ulysses( Andrea) VanCourt, and Althea VanCourt Druhet, also survived by 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Age: 69 years a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastors, officers and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; Employees of Jefferson Parish School Board are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 Walkertown Way Marrero, LA on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 10:00am.
