Johnny Warmington, Sr., a retired truck driver departed this life on Friday, September 2, 2016.

Beloved husband of Leona S. Warmington and the late Yvonne Washington Warmington by first marriage. Devoted father of Johnny Warmington, Jr., Kenneth Warmington, Rose Warmington Bradley, Corey Warmington, Elisha Warmington Hampton, Rose Wilson, and Nero Myers. Stepfather of Leanna Brown and the late Alfred and Alvin DuBois. Son of the late Nick Warmington and Rose Coler. Brother of Raymond Warmington. Father in law of Nakia Hampton, Minister Richard Bradley, Gail Warmington, and Natasha Nugent. Nephew of the late Adeline Lizardi. Cousin of the late Lorraine Lizardi, also survived by 28 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Age: 79 years a native of Harvey, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastors, officers and members of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend a Funeral Service at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church 1738 L B Landry New Orleans, LA on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 12:00p.m.
