Archie Lee Jones departed this life at his residence on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the age of 59. He was a native of Carpenter, MS and a resident of Marrero, LA. Devoted husband of Denise Poole Jones. Father of Rudell Griffin, Sr., Montrell Wallace, Crystal Wallace, Jessica Poole, and Rosetta Jones. Son of the late Jim, Sr. and Willie B. Scott Jones. Brother of Castana Jones, Carrie Lee Vance, Sally Mae, Diane, Estella, Ron, Tommy, Jim, Willie Jones and the late Mary Alma Jones, Stella Faye Jones, Rosella Jones, Margaret Ann Conners, Flora Jean Funches, Otta Clyde Jones, Ernest Lee Jones, William Coleman, Jimmy Lewis Harris, Johnnie Frank Harris, also survived by 12 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also a pastors, officers, and members of Greater White Oak M.B.C. and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Greater White Oak Missionary Baptist Church 5142 Highway 18 Utica, MS on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 2:00p.m. Visitation will begin at 1:00p.m. at the above named church.
