Roy Lee Warren

Roy Lee Warren departed this life on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at University Medical Center. He retired after 20 years of service with the United States Army as Sergeant first Class and a supervisor with Jefferson Parish Parks Recreations (MAC) and Goodworks of Belle Chasse, LA, and assistant supervisor with Jefferson Parish Parks Recreation (Terrytown).

Husband of Darlene Preatto-Warren. Devoted father of Keoka Warren, Abreial Warren, and Dominic Warren. Son of Ollie Broussard and the late Jerry Martin. Brother of Lavell Warren, Jerry Alphonse, Sidney Alphonse, Marilyn Alphonse, and the late Juanita Alphonse. Grandfather of Ashanti Nettles, Kirsten Warren, Matai Griggs, Jonathan Williams, Jr., Jacoby Williams, and Skylar Warren. Father in law of Katina Warren.  Son in law of Marion Preatto, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sisters in law, brothers in law, 1 godchild, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Age: 63 years a native of Ferriday, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the parlor.

Interment: Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery-Slidell, LA
