Indiana Watson Lackey

Indiana Watson-Lackey passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at her daughter’s home surrounded by her loved ones. Beloved wife of the late David Lackey, Sr. Loving mother of Ollie (Ernest) Howell, David Lackey, Jr., Barbara Lackey, Angeline (Fred) Douglas, Margia Davis, Anna James, Jacqueline (Elder Shelton) Garnett, and the late Gloria Lackey-Davis. Guardian and mother to Roy (Vickey), Frank (Monica), Lionel (Jesse) and Betty Jean Fields. Daughter of the late Roy and Angeline Watson. Sister of Mary Alice Ford of Waterproof, LA and the late Gladys Taylor, Willie Lee Perry, Carrie Lee Fields and Ernestine Watson; also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 91 years, a native of Waterproof, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Regular Baptist Church, City Church Westbank, Church at New Orleans Westbank, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTURY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 10:00a.m.
