Minerva Oliver Jones

Minerva Oliver Jones passed away at her residence on Sunday, September 25, 2016. She retired after more than 20 years of service with Touro Hospital and One Shell Square.

Wife of the late Frank Jones, Jr. Devoted mother of Helen J. (Theodore) Milligan, of Gretna, LA, Doris E. Peoples of Virginia Beach, VA, Tracey O. (Jerome) Douglas of Gretna, LA, and Frank O. Jones of Norfolk, VA. Daughter of the late Will and Lennie Sims Oliver, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Age: 87 years a native of Macon, MS and a resident of New Orleans, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Olive Branch Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Olive Branch Baptist Church 1134 Branch-Joseph Odeon St. Algiers, LA on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
