Alfred Joseph Perry, Sr., age 48, departed this life on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at his residence. He was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Slidell, LA. Alfred was employed as a butcher with Thompson Meat Packing Company. Loving father of Alfred J. Perry, Jr., Trenay, Alriyane and Trejon Simmons. Beloved son of Edna M. Perry and the late Renee Perry, Sr.   Grandson of the late Daisy and Joseph Riggins and Louvenia and Alfred Perry, Sr. Brother of Renee Perry, Jr., Dwight, Tyrone, Tremone, and Irving Perry, Reynes Meyers, Tinya Perry, and Tammy Thomas; also survived by 4 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Fischer Community Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Thompson Meat Packing Company are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Fischer Community Church, 1737 L.
