Percy Jones

Percy Jones, a Security Guard, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 6, 2016 at West Jefferson Medical Center. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Jefferson Parish. Percy served his country as a member of U. S. Army. Beloved husband of Carolyn M. Jones. Father of Kenya W. Sonia, Lionel J. Patterson, Avery J. Jones, and other children. Son of the late Herman and Celestine Moore Jones.   Brother of Lionel Jones, Lucille (Lawrence) Ussin, Mary Francis Jones, Linda Spencer, and the late Ernest Jones; also survived by 20 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members, of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 701 Huey P. Long Ave., Gretna, LA on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 10:00a.m.

Pastor Noily Paul, Jr., officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery-Slidell, LA
