Brenda Ann Harris Cockheran, an Environmental Service Aide, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 8, 2016.

Wife of the late Herbert Cockheran. Stepmother of Rickie, Marie, Mary, and Maxine Coleman, Nedra, Karen, and Kevin Phillips, Jha’al, Shelisa, and Venlisha Cockheran. Grandmother of Quinzell Cockheran. Daughter of the late Annie Mae Frazier and Daniel Harris, Sr. Stepdaughter of the late Walter Gates. Sister of Terry, Robert, Benny, Carol, and Betty Harris, Sharon Amaro (niece) and the late Barbara Gates-Jenkins, Yvonne Harris-Cola, Glinda (Linda), Diane, Robert, Henry and Daniel Harris, Jr. Aunt of Willette Harris and Shannon Harris Ausbrooks. Great aunt of Crystal Perkins. Niece of Stella Mae Hudson, Lillie Mae Frazier, Minnie Frazier, Selena Every, Celestine Campbell and Delores (Lloyd, Jr.) Every, also survived by a host of other relatives and friend.

Age: 65 years a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Fischer Community Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Fischer Community Church 1737 L. B. Landry Algiers, LA on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 10:00a.m.
