Alfred James Waters, Sr.

Alfred James Waters, Sr., an appliance tech, entered into eternal Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the age of 70.

He was a native of Batchelor, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Devoted father of Barbara Waters-Solomon, Kizzie Williams, Alfred Mays, Elton Doughty, Shaun, Charles O., Christopher, Carmelitta, Lashara, Laquanta, and Geraldnisha Waters. Son of Jack Tunwar and the late Minnie Lee Waters.

Brother of Jack, Ovie, Horace, and Charles Ray Waters, Florastine Robinson and the late Olivia Lloyd, also survived by 42 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. at the above named parlor.

Interment: Holt Cemetery New Orleans, LA.
