Elnora Banks Abron, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the age 85. She was a native of Pine Grove, LA and a resident of Waggaman, LA.

Beloved wife of the late Leroy Abron. Mother of Drandy (Vaughn) Bartholomew, Landry (Rhonda) Abron, and Hida Abron. Daughter of the late Elder Percy Banks and Lula S. Banks. Sister of Wilbert (Evelyn) Banks, Rutha Banks, Bernice McClelland, Frankie (Melvin) Thaggard, Leroy (Christine) Banks, Otis (Effie) Banks, Velma Mayo, Irene (Gerald) East, and the late Sam Banks , Sr., Julia Rheams, and Rose Matthews. Adopted grandmother of Joshua, Zachary, and Stephen Baker, Demaj Summers, Jayla Williams, Jody Williams, and Tyler Johnson. Sister in law of Lucille A. Rice, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Paul COGIC, Morris Chapel COGIC, Macedonia COGIC, Avondale COGIC, Spain Street COGIC, and St. James COGIC are invited to attend the Wake Services at St. Paul COGIC 1020 Forstall St. New Orleans, LA on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 6:00p.m.- 8:00p.m.
