Edward McCalebb

Edward “ Squeaky” McCalebb peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the age of 80. He was a native of Indianola, MS and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Beloved husband of the late Rena W. McCalebb by first marriage and Ann G. McCalebb by second marriage. Son of the late Jack and Hattie Jones McCalebb. Stepson of the late Lula McCalebb. Grandson of the late Willie and Rebecca McCalebb, Will and Beatrice Jones. Brother of Beatrice McCalebb Young and Betty McCalebb and the late Perry Storia. Devoted uncle of Nicole Young and the late Derrick Young, Sr. Nephew of Lula Mae Jones Wilson. Brother in law of Helen Storia of VA., also survived by 2 daughters, 2 sons, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins other relatives and friend.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Algiers United Methodist Church, Life Center Cathedral and neighboring churches; employees of Belle Vie Living Center are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 10:00a.m.
