Freddie Joseph Ussin

Freddie Joseph Ussin departed this life at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Sunday, October 23, 2016. He was a retired driver for Dynamic Industries.

Beloved husband of Marcella Ussin. Father of Gladys Rheams, Linda Commedore, Priscilla Rhodes, Joyce Hunter, Rena Ussin, Courtney, Ussin, Melvin Willis, Nathaniel Evans, and Jamar Evans. Son of the late Lloyd and Leola Ussin. Grandson of the late Clarence M. Ussin, Sr. and Viola Ussin. Brother of Lawrence, Clarence, Sr., and Thomas Ussin, Shirley Barnes, Ella Dolores (Joseph) Ruiz, Florence (Clarence) Brown and Helen (Paul) Ruiz and the late Floyd, Charles, Edward, Lionel, and Leroy Ussin, Sr., and Clementine Adams, also survived by 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Age: 81 years a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Bridge City, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Providence Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral services at Providence Missionary Baptist Church 2311 Seventh St. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 10:00a.m.

Pastor Lawrence St. Cyre, Sr. officiating 

Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.

Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA
