Vinney Charlie Harris

Vinney “Mississippi” Charlie Harris entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 21, 2016. He was a maintenance assistant for Jefferson Parish School Board.

Beloved husband of Sharon Williams Harris. Stepfather of Erica, Lawrence, and Duran Williams and Frederick Alexander. Son of Rezin Webster Harris and the late Charlie Harris. Brother of Harry David (Tamma), Otha (Elouise), Charlie (Inez), Nathan (Charlestine), Beatrice, Charlie Mae, Jeanette, and Marie Harris, Ollie and Walter Atkins, Carrie Hicks, Jessie Mae Middleton, and Lessie Brown, also survived by 9 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Age: 45 year a native of Marks, MS and a resident of Harvey, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, offices, and members of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 2:00p.m.
