Shirley Lee Gatlin

Shirley Lee Gatlin, a homemaker, entered into eternal rest at Tulane Medical Center on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the age of 55. She was a native of McComb, MS and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Devoted mother of Shrome Gatlin, Damieon Davis, Jasmine Gatlin and Daveion Gatlin. Beloved daughter of Julius (Annette) Belton and the late Christeen Gatlin Carey. Stepdaughter of the late David Carey, Sr. Granddaughter of the late Rosevelt and Carrie Mae Gatlin. Loving sister of David (L.Letha) Gatlin, Perry Gatlin, Martin (Latriche) Carey, Mark (Jeanette) Belton, Joyce (Nathaniel) Butler, Jannie (Eric) Veal, Rene (Wilbert) Lewis, Schwann (Chris) Runnels and the late Carolyn Moran; also survived by 7 grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 10:00a.m.

 Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor

 Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA
