Joann Calloway

Joann Calloway, a retired nurse, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at New Orleans East Hospital at the age of 67. She was a native of Idabel, OK and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Loving mother of Rorena Edwards. Grandmother of Wandrea, Tyra and Chad Edwards. Daughter of the late Gaines Dallas Calloway and Eddie Mae Calloway. Sister of Michael Dewayne Calloway, Clifton Andrew Casteel and the late Wanda LaSalle. Special aunt of DeeAnna Joi LaSalle, Bobbie LaSalle, Faith LaSalle, Tommy LaSalle and Dewayne Ward, Jr.; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Private burial was held.
