Essie Thomas Brisco

Essie Mae Brisco transitioned to heaven on Monday, November 21, 2016 at her residence at the age of 84. She was a native of Alexandria, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Mrs. Brisco retired from the University of New Orleans after 35 years of service. Loving mother of Patricia Brisco Rollins,   Sandra (Darren) Byrd, and the late Robert (Veronica) Brisco, Sr. Grandmother of Theodore Brisco, Sr., Corey Brisco, Nakia Brisco-Jones, Harvey Brisco, and Robert Brisco, Jr. Daughter of the late Robert and Edith Thomas. Sister of Geraldine Roberson and the late Dorothy Thomas. Mother in law of the late Harvey Rollins. Sister in law of the late Antwine Roberson. Devoted friends of the family Leonard and Sheila Merrick, also survived by 9 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, 5 step children, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 10:00a.m.
