Devoted mother of Lashaninda (Simpson) Nelson, John Pryer, Joseph (LaToya ) Pryer and the late Lamont Johnson. Grandmother of Alexis Marie Alexis. Daughter of the late Nathaniel Johnson and Esther Hatton. Sister of the late Auzy, Aaron, Regis, Nathaniel and Willie Johnson. Ex-wife of the late Ricky Lewis. Godmother of Dwight Doughty and Laura Lee Adams and Catina Self. Close friend of the late Leroy Doughty and Raymond Stemley; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Age: 60 years, a native of St. Joseph, La. and a resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Regular Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Burlington Coat Factory are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Regular Baptist Church 901 5th St. Gretna, La. on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Pastor T. A. Hodge, officiating  Visitation will begin at from 8:30 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Providence Cemetery-Metairie, La.
