Barbara Richard McGrew

Barbara J Richard McGrew entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the age of 78. She was a native of Melville, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Barbara was a graduate of Phyllis Wheatly High School, and a retired Cafeteria Technician with the Jefferson Parish School Board. Belove wife of the late Sylvester McGrew, Sr. Devoted mother of Sylvester (Brenda) McGrew, Harold (Khristine) McGrew, Aaron Wayne (Tiffaney) McGrew, Belinda McGrew (Ray Sr.) Smith, Gina McGrew (Chauncey) Killibrew, Nina McGrew, Ida Mae Martin, and the late Stephanie McGrew Mitchell Sparks. Daughter of the late L. G. Richard and Mary Beverly Guillory. Sister of Bobby (Brenda) Guillory, Ted (Bobbie) Guillory, Antionette Guillory Elow and the late Melanie Guillory; also survived by 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Regular Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Regular Baptist Church, 901 5th St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 10:00a.m.

Pastor T.A. Hodge, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time
