Gerald Joseph Smith, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 19, 2016 at University Medical Center. He was employed with Orleans Parish School Board as a Locksmith.

Father of the late Larry Clark and Gerald Joseph Smith, Jr. Beloved son of Lawrence A. Smith and Geraldine Oliver. Grandson of the late Lawrence, Sr. and Inez Smith, Lloyd and Rosezena Oliver. Brother of Stefon Oliver, Sr., Kyle B. Oliver, Jay Wellington Oliver, Shelia Celestin and Charlotte Collier, also survived by 1 grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Age: 61 years a native and resident of New Orleans, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers and members of Fischer Community Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Fischer Community Church 1737 L B Landry Ave. New Orleans, LA. on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 10:00a.m.
