Linda Dianne Jones

Linda Dianne Jones, age 66, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at her residence. She was a native of Marianna, AR and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Linda was a graduate of Arkansas A &M College where she earned her B.A. Degree and Southern University of New Orleans earning her Master of Arts Degree. She was employed for many years in Human Resource, and later founded and directed her own business Liberation of the American Family and Comforts Intervention, a community based service for challenged individuals. Linda was a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. Loving mother of Michael Durand Jones Cozart (Jewel) and the late Valecia Ja’Lan Simeon. Daughter of the late Johnnie E. and Della Mae Jones. Granddaughter of the late Sadie and Joe Daniel. Sister of Jimmie T. (Barbara) Jones, Henry Troy (Carolyn) Jones, John E. (Jonacque) Jones III, Helen Jones (William) Martin, Carolyn Lavern (Leroy) Douglas, and the late Cleotha Jones King; also survived by 4 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 10:00a.m.
