Myrna Ann Bush

Myrna Ann “Bert” Bush departed this life at University Medical Center on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the age of 57. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Myrna was employed with St Luke Medical Center as a Dietary Technician. Loving mother of Channell and Latoya Bush, Britney Ware, and the late Corey Bush, Sr. Daughter of the late Anthony A. Bush, Sr. and Mary Ann Ross Bush. Sister of Janice (Harold) Augustus, Sandra Bush, Anthony (Denise) Bush, Jr.,Sterling Bush, Linda (Jeffery) Huff, Cynthia Bush, Leon (Sharlene) Bush, Wanda Bush Hawkins, Brandon Getridge, and Stanton (Kenjuan) Getridge. Goddaughter of John Carter and Mary Joyce Wilson.  Devoted friend of Willie Sudds. Dedicated friend of Lydia Ross; also survived by 11 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Sinai Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of St. Luke Medical Center are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 1249 LeBoeuf St., New Orleans, LA on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 11:00a.m. Pastor Dudley Watson, officiating

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
