Nicholas Jamal Ratliff, Sr.

Nicholas Jamal Ratliff, Sr. departed this life at Tulane University Medical Center on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at the age of 31. He was native and resident of Marrero, LA. Nicholas was formerly employed as a Auto Technician with Ray Brandt Nissan. Loving father of Nyla Ratliff and the late Nicholas Ratliff, Jr. Beloved son of Escalina Ratliff and the late Ray Massey. Grandson of Esco , Sr. and Pearlie Ratliff, Martha Massey, and the late Willie Massey, Sr. Brother of Natasha (Jermaine) Upton, and half brother of Ray Bradley. Uncle of Jace Upton. Devoted companion of Teriyaki Conner; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Ray Brandt Nissan, City of Westwego, Care Point Partners, Stone Clinical Laboratories and Jefferson Financial Credit Union; doctors and staff of Ochsner Hospital Oncology Dept., M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, and Tulane University Medical Center are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service at Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church, 6533 Acre Rd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 7, 2016 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Gilbert Barnes, officiating

Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
