Ocedra Telisa Thomas, a homemaker, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at her residence. Companion of Tarvis J. Brown, Sr. Mother of Tarvis Brown, Jr., (Ashley Mozzella), Cali Brown, and Terraz (Kamau) Germaine. Grandmother of Tarvis Brown, III, and Gavin Morales. Daughter of Veronica Lucille Thomas and the late Van James Thomas. Granddaughter of the late Joseph and Ursula Mimmitt and Ruth Jones. Sister of James (Jackie) Brown, III, Rodney (Joyce) Thomas, Jerome L. (Patrice) Brown, Derrick Thomas, Gerald A. Brown, Pamela Thomas, Simone Thomas, Dahlre (Ed) Brown, Toyce Carroll and the late Dornecia, Denzel C., and Van Thomas, Jr., also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Age: 52 years a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Metairie, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers and members of First Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Pilgrim Progress Missionary Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral Services at First Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church 2507 Perdido St. New Orleans, LA. on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 10:00a.m.

Viewing will be held from 8:00a.m. until 10:00a.m. ONLY at the above named church.
