Ida Rose Wilson

Ida Rose Wilson, a retired Nursing Assistant, entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at the age of 81. She was a native of St. Francisville, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Beloved wife of the late Sam Wilson. Loving mother of Brenda W. Scott, Leo, Leslie, and Holly Wilson, Darlene W. Adams, Yolanda W. Johnson, and Olton Alfred “Pete” Wilson. Grandmother of the late Issac “Ike” Wilson. Daughter of the late Jim and Kitty Johnson. Sister of Thomas and Earl Johnson, Nellie Weary, Nancy Johnson, Geraldine Johnson, and the late Moses, Jim, Willie, Issac”Ike”, and Evelyn Johnson; also survived by 21 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Greater Mt. Calvary Church, Mt. Olive B. C., Mt. Pilgrim 4th B. C., Mt. Zion B. C. of Gretna, Jesus is Lord Evangelist Ministry, Harvest Temple COGIC, True Light Worship Center of Gonzales, LA, Bible Way COGIC, New Mt. Horeb B.C. of Franklin, LA and all neighboring churches; employees of Catholic Charities Food for Families, West Jefferson Medical Center, USPS, Fresenius Dialysis Center, Taylor Offshore International Catering Co., Wynhoven Rehab Center and Interim Healthcare are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Greater Mt.
