Usia Lyons, Jr. entered into eternal rest at his residence on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. He was a retired bus driver for Jefferson Parish School Board.

Husband of the late Orelia Noah Lyons. Devoted father of Debra A. Walker, Usia Lyons, III, and Donald G. Lyons. Son of the late Usia Lyons, Sr. and Felice Lyons. Brother of Shirley Allen, Mary Lee Picou, Catherine Denney, Oreleans Lyons, and the late Lionel Lyons, also survived by 9 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends..

Age: 83 years a native of Houma, LA and resident of Gretna, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers and members of True Hope Ministries International and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at True Hope Ministries International 1228 Cohen St. Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 10:00a.m.
