Emile Stephen Rose, Jr., age 60, returned to his Heavenly home on Saturday, January 21, 2017. Emile retired from the United States Marine Corps and was employed as a Senior Contract Administrator at Texton Systems. Devoted husband of Dextra Lynn Rose. Father of Hashika Rose-Sanders (Cory), Micha Rose, Jamisen Rose, and Naihla Rose. Stepfather of Sha’Daja and Kaiyah. Grandfather of Cory Sanders, Jr., Saniya Rose, Ezri Rose and the late Sanay Rose. Son of the late Emile Rose, Sr. and Emily Celestane Rose. Brother of the late Gwendolyn Bridges; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives, friends and co-workers of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA, on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 9:30a.m. Pastor Keith P. Stewman, officiating Visitation will be held from 8:30a.m. -9:15a.m. at the parlor.
