Roosevelt Scott, Sr. departed this life on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the age of 77. Devoted husband of Dorothy Amacker-Scott. Father of Ronnie Scott, Donnie Scott, Shalinda Scott, Carolyn Brown, Roosevelt Scott, Jr. , Antoinette Scott, and Adrean Smith. Stepfather of Courtnet Williams. Son of the late Evans and Margaret Scott. Brother of Celeste Jefferson, Farrel Scott, and Pauline Scott, also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 step grandchild, 12 sisters in law, 9 brothers in law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives, friends, and co-workers of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Life Center Cathedral Family Life Center, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Life Center Cathedral Family Life Center 2100 Ames Blvd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 10:00a.m.
