Dorothy West White

Dorothy West White entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Humble Healthcare Center, Humble, TX at the age of 86. She was a native of Hammond, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA.

Wife of Joseph Authur White. Mother of Uris (Charlene) Swatt, Deborah (Isaiah) Johnson, and the late Edwin Walker and Lorriane Swatt Walker. Grandmother of Shavone, Nicole, Dion, Mickelle, Jarvis, Kornell, Uris, Clifford, Malcolm, Marcus, Derrick, Christopher, Larry, Denise, Earl, Dana, Devin, Iesha, and Shira, also survived by 41 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Thompson Temple Church of God in Christ, Evariste Temple, Philadelphia Christian Church, Worship Tabernacle of Humble, TX, West Tabernacle of Conroe,TX and neighboring churches; faculty and staff of Arden Cahill Academy are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Thompson Temple Church of God in Christ 1515 Whitney Ave. Gretna, LA on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 11:00a.m.
