Marcy Annette Divinity

Marcy Annette Divinity departed this life on Monday, February 27, 2017 at her parent’s residence in Marrero, LA.

She was graduate of John Ehret High School and  later received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at Southeastern Louisiana and a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision at Prairie View

A & M University Of Texas. Daughter of Leroy, Sr. and Mildred Smith Divinity. Sister of Elder Leroy, (Pamella) Divinity, Jr., Dexter (Angela) Henderson, and Darlene Divinity. Aunt of Israel Burkhalter, Leroy, III, Antonia, and Deborah Divinity, and Darnell (Candic) Henderson. Niece of Ernest Lee Divinity, Joseph Bernard Divinity, Eddie Smith, Lillian Harris, Rosie Watts, Julia Jones, Addie Rush, Carol Smith, and Margaret Smith, also survived by great nieces, one great nephew, and a host of loving cousins, devoted friends, former colleagues and students.

Age: 51 years a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Houston, TX.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of New Salem Church of Christ Holiness U.S.A. , Midway Church of Christ Holiness, members of COCHUSA; employees of Houston Independent School District are invited to attend the Funeral Services at New Salem Church of Christ Holiness U.S.A. 1540 Mansfield Dr. Marrero, LA on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11:00a.m.
