Albert Taplett, III, a construction worker, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at West Jefferson Medical Center.

Husband of Diane Lewis Taplett Father of Dwayne Brown, Troy Brown, and the late Kedrick Brown. Son of the late Albert, II, and Anna M. Taplet. Brother of Wade Taplet, Gertrude Taplet, Sheila T. Gibson, Cecila Pedescleaux and the late Sandra T. Jones, also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Age: 68 years a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 10:00a.m.

Rev. Lawrence St. Cyre officiating

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
