Daves Williams, Sr.

Daves Wiliams, Sr., age 70, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at his residence. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Daves was employed as a landscaper and painter. His passion for painting was exhibited in his backyard with a mural tribute to his children. Beloved fiancée of Levern Hayes. Loving father of Jacqueline Baham-Robertson (Dominick) and her mother Melvina Baham, Daves Williams, Jr. (Kiedra), Jessica Bacchus (Kirk), and their mother Karen Woods. Grandfather of Brad Stewart, Jr., Dai’Jah Robertson, Destinee’ Robertson, Dominick “Deuce” Robertson, Kaleb Williams, and Kyran Bacchus. Son of the late Ophelia Johnson and Moses Williams. Brother of Ella Mae (Leo) Lewis and the late Aline Baker (James D. Harris). Uncle of Leah Lewis, James Harris, III, and the late Consuela Johnson and Oscar “Duke” Johnson; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST. GRETNA, LA on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the parlor.
