Elaine “Big E” W. Belton, a homemaker, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank at the age of 70. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Beloved wife of the late L. S. Belton. Companion of Junius Freeman. Loving mother of Erroll Williams, Rev. Donald Charles Williams, Lloyd Williams, Darren Williams, Fredrick Williams, Vernike Williams, Yolanda Williams Hill, and the late Patrice Middleton, Mitchell, Steven and Herbert Williams. Daughter of Steven Williams, William Muse and the late Olivia Muse. Granddaughter of the late August and Olivia Villery. Sister of Tyrone, Erroll, Kenneth, Ronald, and Russell Muse, and Sharon Francis. Sister-in-law of the late Sonic Muse and I L Manual; also survived by 37 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and member of Jesus is Lord Evangelistic Ministries, Philadelphia Christian Church, St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Service at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 1738 L. B. Landry Ave., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Donald Williams, officiating; Pastor Norman Francis, host pastor.
