August Paul Bourgeois

August Paul Bourgeois, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at the age of 68. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. He was a graduate of Tulane University and served his country in the United States Air Force.

Beloved husband of Rose Pate Bourgeois. Devoted father of Brian K. (Carolyn) Bourgeois, Ayana D. Bourgeois, and August P. (Tiffany) Bourgeois, Jr. Grandfather of Kristin, Kathryn, August, III, Madison, Chance, Alyssa, Alexander, and Alonzo. Son of the late Alexander and Thelma Worthy Bourgeois. Brother of Diane Jasper, Alexis Bourgeois, Clarence Bourgeois, and Alexander Bourgeois, III. Nephew of Dorothy Craft, Melvin Bourgeois, and Kenneth (Vanessa) Bourgeois, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and all neighboring churches; members of Famous G’s Social and Pleasure Club are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Bethlehem Lutheran Church 1823 Washington Ave. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00a.m.
