Martha Davis Herrera

Martha “Margie” Raye Davis Herrera departed this earthly life on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the age of 59. She was a native of Sunflower, MS and a resident of Algiers, LA. Martha was an employee of Algiers Charter School Association. Beloved wife of the late Melvin Herrera, Sr. Loving mother of Justin, Irma, Brittany and the late Melvin, Jr.   Grandmother of Imari, Corey, Jr., and Laila Felix and Thumper Herrera. Daughter of Vercennier Davis and the late Robert Davis. Granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Time Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Willie Davis. Sister of Robert (Angela), Benny, Robert, Jr., Victoria Davis, and the late Randolph, Theresa, Dolly, Rose Mae and Marie Davis; also survive d by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Greater Little Rock Baptist Church, Abundant Life Church and all neighboring churches; staff and students of Landry-Walker Career and College Prep High School; members of O.P. Walker Booster Club; employees of Thornings and Captain Cove Restaurant are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Abundant Life Church, 2301 Par 3 Dr. Harvey, LA on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 10:00a.m.  Rev.
