Odis Mock

Odis Mock entered eternity on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at his residence after battling a lengthy illness. 

Beloved husband of Odessa Mayze Mock. Father of Leroy (Jacqueline) Francis, Gregory Francis, and Odis Codell Mock (Nicole Brady), Juanita (Robert III) Dembo of Houston, TX., Osannah (Phillip, Sr.) Harrison, Arlene (Roy Clark) Lewis, and the late James Mayze. Grandfather of Corey, Damien, Torione, Pamela, Marissa, Jessica, Jennifer, Joseph, and Phillip, Jr. Son of the late Dave and Beulah Mock. Brother of O.J. (Doris) Mock, Earma Mock Miley,  Mary Lee (Robert) Kemp, and the late Dave, Jr., John, Ivory, Ernest, Bobby, Lloyd, and Alex Mock, Norma Smith and Bertha Williams. Devoted friends of Leroy Henderson, James Lee, and Isaiah Jenkins, also survived by great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.    

 Age: 87 years a native of Ferriday, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA. 

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of White Chapel Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Xavier University, Job Link, and Crossroads are invited to attend the funeral service at White Chapel Baptist Church 1315 Estalote Ave.  Harvey, LA on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church 

Interment: Restlawn Park  Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
