James Charlemagne

James Charlemagne, age 74, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at his residence. He was a native of St. Lucia, W.I. and a resident of Harvey, LA. James was a retired Painter and Sandblaster of Good Hope Refinery. Beloved husband of Yolanda Charlemagne. Loving father Alli Charlemagne, Karen Charlemagne, Sylvia Charlemagne-Callo, Samantha Charlemagne, Jasma Charlemagne, Sylvia Robinson-Small, Jacinta Williams, Claudia Charlemagne, and Peter Phillips. Son of the late Louis Hippolyte and Ann Marie Charlemagne. Grandson of the late Toto and Doradi Charlemagne. Brother of Simon, John, Lucy, Lynn and Julietta Charlemagne, Catherine John-Baptist and Angela John-Baptist; also survived by 12 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST. GRETNA, LA on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 1:00p.m. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery and Mausoleum-Westwego, LA
