Lindsey Erin Schaeffer

Lindsey Erin Schaeffer peacefully entered into eternal rest at her residence on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the age of 30. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Lindsey was a 2008 graduate of Nicholls State University where she earned a degree in Culinary Arts. She was employed as a teller with Whitney Bank. Beloved daughter of Charles and Annie Schaeffer. Loving sister of Charles C. Schaeffer, Marcie Schaeffer and Alfreda Broughton. Devoted aunt of Dominic, Zoe, LaKaila, Elijah, Zachary, Isabella, and Lillian. Granddaughter of the late Valerie Schaeffer, Marcella W. Stevenson, Robert Williams and George Edward. Goddaughter of Brian and Berbine Rabathaly; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, Greater Zionfield Family Worship, and all neighboring churches; employees of Whitney Bank and United Vision; staff and students of Jefferson Rise Charter School are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 Walkertown Way Marrero, LA on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Thomas J. Brown, Jr., officiating
