Mary Ann Blanche

Mary Ann Blanche, age 80, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at her residence. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Mary was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. She retired from Charity Hospital after many years of service as a nurse. Loving mother of Anthony Leagea, Antoinette Leagea, Phyllis Leagea, Edward Blanche III, and the late Donna Lynn Leagea. Stepmother of the late Bradford Blanche. Daughter of the late Robert Leagea and Rosie Simmons. Sister of the late Willie Henry, Ernidee Black and Delores Chatman. Good friend of Anthony Motley; also survived by 14 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
