Ernest Sears Bryant, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved husband of 49 years to Bernice Clark Bryant. Loving stepfather of Chris (Wilfred) Times and Melvin Joseph (Gina) Johnson, Jr.   Son of the late Ernest S. Bryant, Sr. and Mary Harris Bryant. Brother of Katherine (Louis) Joseph, Wyonia Thais Bryant, and the late Olsen Arthur Bryant. Son-in-law of the late Wilson, Sr. and Elnora Harris Clark. Brother-in-law of Geraldine C. Reed, Rosilea Clark, Dolores C. Every, Elaine Kelly, and the late Louise P. Francois, Wilson Clark, Jr., Henry Clark, Harry Reed, and Leon Francois; also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 Walkertown Way Marrero, LA on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 10:00a.m.
