Jessie Calvis Dummars

Jessie Calvis Dummars departed this life on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the age of 45. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a lifelong resident of Harvey, LA.

Son of Doris M. Brown Dummars and the late Rev. Alfred C. Dummars. Grandson of the late Viola Brown. Great grandson of the late Freddie and Hattie B. Osborne, Sr. Twin brother of Jerome (Tammy) Dummars, Sr. of VA, Carol Dummars of N.C., Remona (Michael) Adams, Alfreda (Lance) Hammonds of GA and the late Terry E. Dummars, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of First Emmanuel Baptist Church of Gretna and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at First Emmanuel Baptist Church of Gretna 1301 Solon St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.

Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery- Avondale, LA.
